Chris O’Dowd of Bridesmaids is engaged!

The actor, who played the cop who adorably pursued Kristin Wiig’s character in the breakout comedy, is set to marry British TV personality Dawn Porter.

Porter revealed the happy news on Twitter.

“I guess he liked it, coz he put a ring on it #engaged” she wrote on Thursday.

O’Dowd had a humorous take on the announcement, too.

He tweeted, “I’m so bored of all this happiness and sex. I’m getting married. #engaged.”

Congrats to the couple!
