REPORT: Chris Hemsworth Robopocalypse Choice of Steven Spielberg

Chris Hemsworth is reportedly Steven Spielberg’s top choice for the lead role in the upcoming Robopocalypse.
The Thor and Snow White and the Huntsman star is said to have met with Spielberg for the part and won over the director, according to Deadline.
NO casting has been officially confirmed for the film as of yet.

The movie is based on Daniel H. Wilson’s bestselling sci-fi book about the rise of a sentient artificial intelligence that becomes too powerful and tries to wipe out humanity in a robot apocalypse.
Robopocalypse has been discussed for years but is now slated for release in April 2014.
