Chris Colfer is no one-trick pony.

The “Glee” star has just sold a screenplay entitled Struck by Lightning that he will also star in.

Colfer is teaming up with Youth in Revolt producer David Permut for the movie, who describes the script as a coming-of-age comedy similar to a John Hughes film.

Colfer will shoot the movie during his hiatus from “Glee” next summer.
