Chris Brown Breaks Silence on Club Brawl: We Were “Victims of Brutal Attack”

Chris Brown has broken his silence on the early morning club brawl involving him and Drake’s entourage.

A rep for the singer has issued a statement that reads: ”Chris, Karrueche [Tran] and his friends were victims of a brutal attack last night at WIP.  They sustained several injuries.”

The statement continues, “Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further.”

Brown’s chin was cut in the fight, and his bodyguard Big Pat suffered a serious head injury.

Earlier, Drake’s camp issued a statement declaring that he “did not participate in any wrongdoing” at W.i.P.

I see the way people want him to get in more trouble because of what he did before; because of hate, because he makes good money and maybe the wrong skin color … by their definition of skin color, but not by mine. I just know that some haters would go all out to try to get him to fight back so that he can get locked up. Of course, he will fight back if somebody slashed his chin. Looks like they were aiming for his face… jealousy. Of course, they were either a gang or hired by some Chris Brown hater to start that sh**. I notice there is a lot of Blacks who are jail bound or in jail because of crimes they didn’t start or didn’t do. They seem to be glad to get the money making ones. The least little thing. I bet the law will go at him 10xs harder than they would if he were White. They don’t want the guy to even get out and have fun. They want him penned up in a house all the time. Come on, the guy is young. I bet they were waiting for him to go out to a public place.

    For all of you spiteful people wishing bad on someone be careful bad always befalls on those who wish bad and celebrate something bad happening to someone else. I am glad the girlfriend, Karrueche and her friends are okay. I feel bad for the body guard because he really was badly hurt. I hope that Drake is and his “crew” are prosecuted just as Chris was because, it is still a violent act executed on another human being.

    Why is it so hard for people to live into today.People want to see harm come to him because of what happened a few years ago.You will never hear me say what he didn’t wasn’t wrong but I am not going to continue to beat him down over it.It is stupid that people are stuck on this one case when there are thousands that fall through the cracks and get little to no attention everyday.Just today they reported a woman whose ex set her on fire after she had reported him several times on different accounts.Where is your outrage for this and the other women who want and need your sympathy.How some people can condone one violence and condemn the other is hypocritical.Any kind of violence that could claim the life of someone you love or hate is a life that was given by God.If you don’t have respect for that person at least have respect for the creator.A the people that says he is getting what he deserves ask yourself would you speaking those same words if it was your loved ones(innocent or not)?
