Jay Penske’s HollywoodLife continues to make up stuff. The blog, which spread a fake story about Rihanna supposedly burning an apology letter from Chris Brown, now has a follow-up fake story.

According to the webloid, Brown had a “shocking reaction” to Rihanna’s actions. Again, just to recap: None of this actually happened. Like lots of other things HollywoodLife has published, it’s imaginary. It’s make-believe. It comes from HollywoodLife “sources,” who have demonstrated that they’re some of the worst in the business when it comes to Brown and Rihanna.

Anyway, one alleged insider says that Brown “thinks she’s crazy” in the aftermath of the letter-burning (which never happened). “He’s paying her no mind and he thinks she’s crazy,” a source “close to the rapper” tells HollywoodLife, which once put Rihanna in the center of a supposed Joe Jonas-Shia LaBeouf feud.

The outlet’s tipster adds, “He’s not sitting around, going through sh** she gave him and ripping sh** up. All the things he gave her were because he cared about her and loved her. He did that from his heart.”

Brown never sent Rihanna a letter, and Rihanna never burned it. Instead of retracting its inaccurate story, HollywoodLife is doubling down. So Gossip Cop must point out (again) that this entire report is phony. A source close to the situation tells us the original story was “false” and that HollywoodLife’s ongoing attention to it is “ridiculous.”
