Chris Brown Pleads To President Obama: “Please Let Us Leave” Manila – SEE VIDEO
As Gossip Cop reported, Brown has been in Manila since Tuesday, when he traveled there for a concert. He was banned from leaving the country on Wednesday, because a concert promoter filed a fraud complaint stemming from a New Year’s Eve concert Brown canceled at the last minute last December. The Department of Justice and the Bureau of Immigration then took action that prevented Brown from taking off, and despite a statement from his rep that the “misunderstanding” was resolved, he was still in the Philippines on Thursday.
In the video of Brown’s mock plea, he’s seen kneeling down on a hotel carpet, saying, “Please, please let us leave. Please.” He captioned the video, “OBAMA!!!!!” On Wednesday, Brown had posted a different Instagram video about the situation, saying, “Can somebody please tell me what the f*ck is going on? I don’t know, I’m reading headlines after headlines, what the f*ck!” The video, which is embedded below, has since been removed from his account, but was uploaded to Twitter by fans.
Earlier on Wednesday, a rep for Brown told Gossip Cop that the issue had been “cleared up,” and he was planning to travel to Hong Kong to continue his concert tour. Gossip Cop reached out for a status update on Thursday, but has not heard back. Check out Brown’s video below about the situation in Manilla, and tell us what you think. Note: The video of Brown asking for Obama’s help has since been pulled down by the singer.
