Chris Brown Did NOT Attack Fan with Homophobic Slur, Despite False Report

Chris Brown is being accused of attacking a fan with a homophobic slur.

The allegations come in a RadarOnline “exclusive,” in which a man named Lucas Peter claims he approached Brown and his entourage on Friday at the Arclight movie theater in Hollywood, only to have the performer hurl an offensive term at him.

According to Peter, “The movie let out and I saw Chris come out the front door, sort of semi-running. I approached Chris and asked him to sign my CD cover.”

“His bodyguard stopped me and said Chris wouldn’t be signing, so I told him Rihanna signs all the time,” Peter tells the site. “That’s when Chris stopped in the garage by the parking pay stand and yelled ‘f***ot’ at me.”

Peter, who is openly gay, says he then retaliated against the star by calling Brown a “wife beater” and asking him “if he was going to beat Rihanna again.”

At that point, alleges Peter, “Chris said, ‘I beat p***y’ and then his bodyguard tried to scare me by saying, ‘And I beat men.’”

Wow.

This is a really colorful story, and it’s 100 percent FALSE.

A source close to Brown tells Gossip Cop, this exchange NEVER happened.

Moreover, a rep tells us it’s ”sad when people make stories up for fame as it can hurt others who are famous.”

RadarOnline has been down this road before, publishing false allegations from its sister publication Star about Brown supposedly using the slur at a June 2011 basketball game.

This is similarly wrong.

Gossip Cop was unable to reach Peter.

    As if a source close to him would confirm it anyways. I’m not saying that it’s true, but his people aren’t likely to say that is it.

    Normally I’m with you guys, but I think saying this is undoubtedly false when you only spoke to Brown’s PR team is kind of bogus. Of course they said it’s false. That’s their job. The guy could’ve made the whole thing up. Or it could be true. The fact is, both you and Radar are only reporting one side of the story and you should both be called out for that.

    Radar Online has wrote this story about Chris multiple times, yet has never given proof besides paying someone. One time they even wrote this story saying he was playing basketball when he was in another city shooting a music video with rapper Ace Hood who confirmed he was at the shoot all day. They constantly lie about him and many other celebs. Just because he has a bad repuation doesn’t mean what they write is true. Radar has said he dated Kim Kardashian once. Never happened. They lie.
    Not like these type of stories ever hurt Chris Brown anyway. He has a top 10 song at the moment.
    Radar Online pays people for their stories. Maybe I can tell a lie too and they will pay me. He’s actually very nice to fans who ask for pictures. He takes photos with fans in the middle of the street, while he’s still in his car.

    I find it hard to believe a fan met him in the middle of the street and so happens to have his cd with him. This Peter wants money, Radar Online loves to write lies and pays people.
    Anyone willing to believe Radar Online, will believe anything. My sister took her picture with Chris in the middle of the street while he was in his white Viper. He has no problem taking pictures with fans.
    Are we going to blame him for the recession too?

    Is the Chris Brown Source the same one who GC talked to for MONTHS, about the Chris & Rihanna relationship? If i can remember correctly. ever story about him and Rihanna was denied by his PR team. Now months later he dumps his GF for her. I’m just saying.. i don’t really believe his reps. This story may not be true, but Chris past behavior makes him a target, b/c his seems like something he would do.

    Exactly Radar Online has shown they have it out for Chris Brown. They and Perez Hilton love to hate Chris Brown because of the Rihanna incident but they need to accept Rihanna has made their choice and they need to get over it.

    This story is totally true and Radar didn’t even pay the guy for it. You’re really finding it hard to believe?! CB has used anti-gay terms NUMEROUS times. Plus I was with Lucas when it happened, so I know it’s true.
