Chris Brown has “dumped” Rihanna, reports In Touch.

The mag says Brown, who allegedly “hooked up” with Rihanna throughout the past couple of months, “ended his affair with the singer” to be with Karrueche Tran exclusively.

According to a so-called “friend” of Brown, “He chose his girlfriend Karrueche over Rihanna.”

“Chris was just using [Rihanna] for sex,” notes the purported insider.

And Rihanna, whom the mag claims was “secretly sleeping with” Brown, is supposedly “heartbroken” that he’s broken things off with her.

Well that’s all very well, but there’s just one tiny thing wrong with this story.

Brown and Rihanna NEVER got back together.

Ever since they collaborated on each other’s songs in February, tabloids like In Touch began inaccurately reporting that they were an item again, despite Brown continuing to step out with his actual girlfriend, Tran.

So now, the mag concocted this supposed breakup tale in order to cover itself for being totally WRONG in the first place about Brown and Rihanna’s alleged romantic reunion.

A rep for Brown tells Gossip Cop simply, “He has always been with Karrueche.”
