Chris Brown Wants To Collaborate With Zayn Malik: “He’s My Homeboy”
As Gossip Cop reported, Malik signed a solo deal with RCA Records late last month, after being dropped by Simon Cowell’s SYCO in the wake of his departure from One Direction. Malik is now working on his first album, and while no collaborators or even producers have been announced yet, Brown says he’s willing to team up on something. The question was posed to the seasoned performer during a Capital FM interview.
“Zayn, yeah, my homeboy. We’re on the same label now. Of course, of course, [I’d work with him],” Brown is quoted as saying. “I don’t shy away from anyone, and I think he’s a great artist. Now he’s doing his solo thing.”
Brown reportedly continued, “I know he has a huge fan base and the fans are waiting to hear his stuff, so it would be cool to get down and collab.” He added, “I’m not a hard guy to get in the studio with, I’m on everybody’s songs, so any time.” Malik hasn’t yet said whether the interest is mutual.
As Gossip Cop previously noted, Malik has been using Twitter to tease his new music. On Friday he wrote that it was “studio time,” and on Wednesday he tweeted, “Gonna get this done for you!! I promise this album will be amazing… Got something exciting coming soon :)!” TELL US: Would like to see Brown and Malik do a duet?
