Chris Brown Entourage NOT Involved In New Club Fight, Despite Reports
Was Chris Brown’s entourage involved in a nightclub brawl in New York?
Initially, that is what was reported.
But, Gossip Cop has learned that it’s not true.
The story, first floated by the New York Post, alleged Brown’s posse got into a fight with a nearby table at the VIP Room, a venue in the Meatpacking District.
One person was hit in the face and sustained a serious eye injury, noted the earlier stories.
But Brown, who was infamously involved in a 2012 club clash with members of Drake’s entourage, had nothing to do with this latest fight — nor did his people.
Gossip Cop reached out to a rep for the club, who told us there was an “incident unrelated to Chris Brown” that went down between two guys, but took place around 50 feet away from the singer and his group.
As we’re told, one man tried to pour a bottle of beer on another dude. The bottle dropped, shattered, and cut the other patron by his eye.
Thankfully, the injury was minor.
The club’s rep assures Gossip Cop Brown was “oblivious” to the whole situation.
Brown himself tweeted, “There was no brawl involving me or anyone from my camp last night at VIP room. The devil is in full effect at all times. God is the way.”
