Chris Brown Hires Armed Guards After Home Invasion, Robbery
Chris Brown has reportedly hired armed guards to protect his San Fernando Valley home after four robbers held his aunt at gunpoint and ransacked his house earlier this month.
While no arrests have been made in connection with the July 15 home invasion, Brown believes the burglars may have been a few of his close friends. As a result of the scary incident, the singer has now hired guards to watch over his property. According to TMZ, one guard will be inside the house, and the other will be outside in a vehicle. Both guards have been told to shoot if they feel a threat is present. Brown is also limiting the number of people allowed inside his home.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, four burglars found their way inside the singer’s home in the early morning hours of last Wednesday. Brown was not home at the time, but his aunt was held at gunpoint inside a closet, while the other robbers went though his home. Police later discovered that a number of Brown’s possessions had been taken and money was stolen. Cops believe a club promoter might somehow have been involved in the home break-in because the burglars knew Brown had $50,000 in cash, which he had just been paid for a club appearance.
