Kate Middleton Topless Photos Published in Italian Magazine Chi

An Italian gossip magazine has announced plans to publish topless photos of Kate Middleton, despite the royal family’s legal action against the first outlet to print the controversial paparazzi shots.

The second tabloid, Chi, is owned by Silvio Berlusconi’s publishing house Mondadori, which also owns Closer, the French mag that created a firestorm on Friday with the publication of Middleton and Prince William sunbathing at a private home.

Chi plans to publish a 26-page spread on Monday that features the now-infamous long lens photos of Middleton in and out of a bikini.

The mag’s cover features three pictures of the Duchess topless and the headline, “The Queen is Nude!”

On Saturday, Chi editor Alfonso Signorini explained that his magazine would be safe because Closer had already exposed the images.

“Closer’s position is different, they were the first ones to publish,” Signorini explained to the Associated Press.

He added, “I don’t see anything morbid or damaging in them. Chi pays attention to respecting people’s dignity. I don’t think they hurt Kate’s image.”

“It shows in its total naturalness the daily life of a young, famous, modern couple in love,” argued Signorini.

    Every time I glance at this headline I think it refers to the blonde model Kate UPTON–and I’m disappointed anew. Ms. Middleton–try a tanning booth from now on. Now can we go back to talking about a Kardashian?

    How about if it’s your Mom or your little sister or your wife or girlfriend. Ok then? I’m thinking not… unless your Mom, little sister wife and/or girlfriend are all sluts who would do it for free anyway.
    How about we photograph YOU naked on the pot in your bathroom, through a crack in your open window or snake a camera down the exhaust fan vent? Ok then?
    It’s all the same thing. The woman was on private property with the expectation of PRIVACY as anyone would in their own home. This is just unconscionable. I hope someone catches up to the photog and the editors of these magazines and beats them to within an inch of their lives. It’s what they deserve.

    The pics were taken in clear violation of french privacy laws. People love to talk about how celebrities should have the book thrown at them because they are not above the law. Guess what? They are also entitled to be protected by the law just like the rest of us. There is no justification for publishing the pics.

    The photog ought to be tarred and feathered in the town square. Truely disgusting, this guy is lower than pond scum, and so is the rag that published the pics. They should be shut down immediately. He should never earn another dollar from any of his photos. Will and Kate have never done anything to deserve such disrespectful behavior.

    I am angry about this situation. First off for someone to
    take pictures of Kate Middleton while in the nude is just wrong on so many
    levels. And for this Silvio Berlusconi
    to exploit her pictures for his own fame, makes me sick. I have to say, give me
    a camera and let me take pictures of his wife in the nude and plaster them all
    over some cheesy tabloid and see how he likes it. I am willing to bet he won’t!

    It’s her fault, why would anyone be naked out unless they want to be seen. People need to keep their clothes on or stay indoors if they want to walk around in the nude.

    I am with you on this,William and Kate are well aware of the position they hold,and at any moment anywhere there could and will be someone just lurking to take a photo like such. Because of who they are..yes it is a game changer for this couple.
    It does not make it right or fair for a photograher to invade anyones privacy…But this world is not fair,is it?
    Knowing this, with William’s own Mother, he should be way more discreet with his wife. These are the facts people… like them or not.

    Um, the Royals are world famous. Your relatives and those of others who comment here are not. It’s a huge game changer. You seem very unaware that the rules for the famous – and especially ROYALTY are completely different. William and Kate should have known better about allowing her to go topless at a private residence. Look what just happened with Harry at a private party! They were very very stupid on this one.

Most of the condemners are probably those who have said the celebrities who get caught out by this kind of media on a regular basis “ask for it” etc. It’s either wrong regardless of who it is, or the opinion isn’t worth the keyboard you type it on.
