Cher Attacks Mitt Romney on Twitter

It doesn’t sound like Mitt Romney can count on Cher’s vote this November.

The music icon slammed the presumptive Republican presidential nominee on Twitter on Tuesday, also taking on Congressman Paul Ryan’s proposed budget and conservatives at large.

Cher tweeted, “If ROMNEY gets elected I don’t know if i can breathe same air as Him & his Right Wing Racist Homophobic Women Hating Tea Bagger Masters.”

Not surprisingly, her inflammatory missive provoked some very angry responses, which she then re-tweeted with commentary (examples below).

    Funny how so many are ready to leave America when they don’t get their way or who they think would be best in office. WHY WAIT? They can leave anytime! NOW WORKS!

    They push tolerance, but lack it on their own with their angry, ugly rants. It doesn’t do any good and is not helping US. IF they want to speak out, they why not do it with respect, to set an example? Because they really don’t care! They have it lucky . . . Regardless of who is OUR President!

    Yep. Conservatives are such a tolerant bunch. They are known as the “live and let live” party. Except if you don’t believe and live exactly as they want you to. Then they pass a law that takes us back a hundred years.

    I am simply saying that you appear to be the moron. You have no personal knowledge of Cher or any of her habits good or bad. The one thing you are right about is her amazing talent. Conservatives and tea baggers are using lies and mis-information to pass laws and constitutional amendments that villify degrade and make a segment of the population second class citizens, the last group that did this was the nazi’s just prior to WWII; at the rate things are going can concentration camps be far behind.     1.Have you read the Republican Party Platform concerning the segment on womens rights? Now go back and re read Cher’s comment with a hopefully more educated eye.
    2. Have you looked at what some states are doing with the laws concerning womens right?

    Tilted information is a prime mover in herd mentality. Liberal or Consertive, people belive what someone tells them and they will tell you whatever is expiedent to get their way. Whatever diety you beive in or not, this election year you owe it to yourself to read the platforms, Both party platfoms and make an informed decision on what you think is best. At the end of the day either candidate is going to support the Party Platform
