I don’t watch DWtS, but there shouldn’t even be a debate. Too bad there are so many closed-minded people in this country who can’t live by what they preach. They seem to forget that Jesus was always most receptive to the poor and downtrodden who were true than the people who preached falsely.

i honestly do not have a problem with Chaz Bono being on DWTS…i watch DWTS for the dancing and yes i will admit for Maks’ sexy abs!! LOL…if someone has a problem you can either change the channel, use your fast forward button, or just not watch!! I have been on the ABC comments and I even commented on it!! there were some downright DISGUSTING things people have said!! I’m outraged, but it’s not for the same reasons as most people. I think it’s terrible that Dancing With the “Stars” is having Chaz Bono on the show simply of who he was born to. But, there are a few women in my office that are very much against having Chaz Bono on the show because he is transgendered. Unfortunately, there are going to be TONS of people who feel this way. I think DWTS is going to feel a huge backlash from this.

He is NOT even a STAR so why is he on a show called Dancing w/The Stars? Neither is George Clooney’s ext gal pal…where in the hell do they get these people they consider stars?

They are the only ones that will sign on the for the show.

Wow, I really don’t understand how this has an effect on anyone. It really does shock me that people would feel so strongly about watching someone dance. People really need to get over themselves. Everyone has a right to be who they want to be, male, female, gay, straight. I don’t know how it is in America but in my country once a person has a sex change they are legally classed as what ever they transitioned into. So I don’t see the issue, its just a dancing show! Its not going to change lives and honestly if dancing with the stars has that much of an effect on you then maybe you should consider getting out and getting a life of your own. I don’t know, maybe take some dance lessons of your own and stop living your life through other people.

First off, DWTS has never really had any stars on their show. It’s a bunch of has-beens or B-list “celebrities” trying to get another 15 minutes of fame, so get over the fact that Chaz isn’t a star. No one who goes on that show is (I mean really they had the Situation on there *barf*) and second who cares if he will be paired with a female? I can’t understand how that bothers anyone’s life. How does it affect you personally? Give me a break. Instead of crying about something so ridiculous, how about you pick up a book or do something productive. Jeez people.

Chaz is a celebrity in his own right as an out and proud LGBT advocate and author. I think it’s brave of Chaz to join the cast. I don’t have high regard for ABC (cancel Adam Lambert for a kiss and replace him with extreme batterer Chris Brown?) but I’m glad they took this step and invited Chaz to dance. I might actually tune in this season.

Way to go! Good for him. Deserves alot of credit for being so open. Dance on, man!

I think it’s great that he has so much confidence in himself to put himself out there. I say good for him. Let the guy strut his stuff. Many of the past dancing stars have really gotten in shape with all the exercise they get and I hope the same happens to Chaz. Live and let live. There are much bigger problems in this world without worrying about someone who has obviously had to make some very tough choices about his life. He has my vote. You go Chaz.

Is she wants to be on the show and dance fine, but she is a she. Not a he. Just because a doctor took advantage of her for money and butchered her does not make her a male. Cutting off parts and pumping someone full of hormones doesn’t make you another gender. I’ve heard of cases of people having the surgery and then regretting it later. Then the doctors wash their hands and their patients’ lives are ruined.

In the world today we are trying to teach our kids that bullying will not be tolerated. Its not only among kids but apparently adults will do it to, but if those adults had a child being bullied they would be the first ones screaming about it. Not one person can say they have not altered themselves in some way to make them feel better about themselves, hair cut, hair dye, piercings, plastic surgery, diets etc. Chaz Bono has every right to live the way he wants to. People who dont understand something fear it and with that fear they will bash instead of becoming educated. Some people need to look at their own pathetic lives and w3hats making them miserable enough to find joy in hurting someone else and someone else who they dont know personally. All Chaz wants to do is dance, its not like hes taking off his clothes and running around yelling look at me. He wants to dance! I think its wonderful that Cher is sticking up for her son. I support them both and so does my mother, daughters and yes, my husband. If you dont like whos on the show, just dont watch, remotes have buttons to change the channel. I never watched the show before but just for Chaz and Nancy Grace ( who is doing it for a wonderful charity), I wont miss a second.

did to him, which was butchering someone for money instead of doing what was best for the patient.

Anoerxic women look in the mirror and see themselves as fat no matter how thin they actually are.Would you support a doctor doing liposuction on an anoerexic because of their self perception? The doctor would be a quack, just like doctors who butcher people who are confused about their gender. If they’re gay they
need counseling so they can be proud of who they are and not feel they have to be cut up to be accepted.
And don’t even try to tell me that having your breasts cut off and a penis attached is like dying your hair,

Hey! Irene! You certainly seem to be on a tear about doctors. Doctors are like any other professional, they went to school for a very long time at great expense so they can do their JOB. It is a JOB! Their patients are ADULTS who are responsible for their own bodies. If these same people want the surgery, they must first go through intensive counseling and be approved by their therapist before a surgeon will touch them. Bottom line is, it’s none of our business what another adult chooses to do with their body. Get over it, take a pill, CHILL.

I’m on a tear about doctors who take the Hippocratic Oath in order to enter that profession and disregard it. That means they are supposed to do their best to help and not harm their patients. They can make money and pay off their student loans being plastic surgeons(lots of $$$ there), brain surgeons, cardiologists,etc. Any number of career choices that don’t involve preying on confused people. I’ve heard that patients go through counseling and an interview process, but largely this is to avoid lawsuits. Would you go through counseling to buy expensive jewelry if the counselor worked for the jewelry store? I don’t put much stock in it when making money depends on approval of surgery.And it is our business to care about patients being preyed upon this way.That’s why Michael Jackson’s doctor is in jail.That’s what can happen when a patient gets confused and needs help and a doctor leeches off him.
