As Gossip Cop reported, Charo and Keo Motsepe were eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars” on Monday. According to votes, the pair were in the bottom two with Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd, but were unfortunately sent home. Following Monday’s broadcast, Charo opened up on the morning show about her ballroom experience and elimination.
“I enjoyed it so much. Do you want me to speak English? If I speak fast, nobody knows what the hell I’m talking about,” Charo joked. “That was my problem every day,” Motsepe quipped.
Charo went on to talk about her time on the show. “I was supposed to be in Las Vegas when they invited me to do ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ but I go back to [Vegas] so often, I thought, let’s do ‘Dancing With The Stars.'” She continued, “‘Dancing With The Stars’ is not about celebrities, it’s about the dancers, Keo, everybody, the wardrobe, everybody, they are the show. I’m very proud of [Keo].”
As Gossip Cop previously noted, even though Charo consistently scored poorly on the competition show, shortly being eliminated, the judges praised her for her efforts. Following her last dance, a foxtrot to the song “Chapel Of Love,” Len Goodman offered, “I thought it was just lovely,” while Julianne Hough told Charo it was “beautiful.” Watch the full “GMA” interview with Charo below!
