Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez ‘Fast And Furious 8’ Feud?
Theron has joined the next installment in the Fast and Furious franchise as the film’s villain, and according to Star, the actress’s character may be rubbing off on her. “Charlize has managed to alienate half the cast, Michelle most of all,” alleges the tabloid’s so-called source. “She’s grudgingly semi-nice to Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, but Charlize ignores all the women completely.”
The publication’s dubious insider contends Theron mostly has a problem with her fellow female cast members, who include Eva Mendes, Helen Mirren and Jordana Brewster, and supposedly “refuses to socialize with any of the women after work, using her kids as an excuse to go home.” The magazine’s supposed “spy” adds, “It’s like a weird competition. She’s definitely not a girl’s girl.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the film’s production, who exclusively tells us that there are nothing but good vibes on set, and the outlet’s claim otherwise is simply “not true.” We’re assured that Theron gets along with the rest of the cast, and this is simply a non-story.
Unfortunately, Gossip Cop isn’t surprised that the tabloid would try to concoct a fake feud between two actresses. Star has a habit of making up phony celebrity fights, and we have repeatedly called out the magazine for falsely claiming co-stars were having on-set issues. Just a few of the publication’s made-up battles that Gossip Cop recently debunked included Kristen Wiig vs. Leslie Jones on the Ghostbusters set, Will Ferrell vs. Amy Poehler while filming The House, and Jennifer Lawrence vs. Nicholas Hoult on the set of X-Men: Apocalypse. None of those alleged feuds ever occurred, and the same goes for the made-up friction between Theron and Rodriguez.
