Charlize Theron “Fate Of The Furious” Interview On “Today” Show – WATCH!
Charlize Theron opened up about her villainous Fate Of The Furious role in an interview broadcast on Wednesday’s “Today” show. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported last year, Theron was cast as a mysterious new villain for the franchise’s eighth installment. All that’s really known is she is someone who convinces Vin Diesel’s Dom to betray his family and align with her. On the morning show, Theron called it an “honor” to be the series’ first female baddie.
“It’s nice to kind of finally have a studio back a woman to go and play a psychotic villain,” she said, going on to joke, “This is like my Picasso blue period. This is my villain period.” Confirming a Gossip Cop debunking about a supposed Theron-Michelle Rodriguez feud, the actress shared how her co-star was “cheering” her on every step of the way.
And with fans also welcoming her into the franchise, Theron said, “It’s beautiful.” Interestingly, though, the star revealed she’s not involved with any of the signature action scenes. “I do nothing,” she admitted. “I sit like this in a chair, and I say mean things.”
Diesel appeared on “Today” earlier this week, as Gossip Cop reported, talking about the kiss they share. In her own chat, Theron also spoke about filming in Cuba and her upcoming movie, Atomic Blonde. Check out the full video below.
