Charlie Sheen wants cameras banned from court hearing

Charlie Sheen became a multimillionaire as a result of being in front of cameras. But he absolutely doesn’t want any cameras next week at a hearing in Colorado, where a judge is being asked to lift a protection order, stemming from a Christmas Day incident in which the “Two and a Half Men” star allegedly threatened his wife with a knife.

Yesterday, Sheen’s lawyer filed a motion, asking that cameras be barred from court in order to protect the privacy of his wife, Brooke Mueller, as well as his right to a fair trial.

The Sheens hope that after the hearing on January 20, the protection order will be revised so that they can once again communicate with each other – and even reconcile.
