Charlie Sheen Reportedly to Sue Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. After Firing
6:19 pm, March 7th, 2011
Charlie Sheen will reportedly sue Warner Bros. Television and “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre, arguing they did not have cause to fire him from the hit series.
The actor’s camp believes Lorre had Sheen terminated because of the actor’s numerous personal attacks on him in the media, and not due to any moral turpitude.
Marty Singer, the star’s lawyer, contends it’s not a question of Sheen’s behavior, citing that Warner Bros. was more than happy to stay connected to Sheen professionally during his domestic violence case last year, according TMZ.
