Charlie Sheen Sued By Ex-Fiancee Brett Rossi Who Alleges Actor Forced Abortion Due To HIV
Charlie Sheen is being sued by his ex-fiancee Brett Rossi who’s alleging the actor not only forced her to get an abortion because he was HIV-positive, but she’s also pursuing litigation because she says he was verbally and physically abusive during their relationship.
The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday by the law firm of Taylor & Ring, and it contains a number of other alleged offenses, including assault and battery, emotional distress, negligence, and false imprisonment.
Rossi, whose birth name is Scottine Ross, claims she got pregnant with Sheen’s baby but the actor bullied her into getting an abortion. Rossi says Sheen used physical and verbal intimidation to force her abortion, including telling her she would end up “giving birth to a retarded child.”
Rossi’s lawsuit further alleges that Sheen withheld the fact he had HIV when the couple first had sex in November 2013, and that the two had unprotected sex several times before she discovered his condition. Rossi is also claiming that Sheen had violent outbursts throughout their relationship, and allegedly tried to put a hit out on her ex-husband. UPDATE: Sheen plans to file a countersuit. In a statement, his lawyer says, “Charlie Sheen intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit filed by Scottine Ross. We are confident that Mr. Sheen will prevail in this action and will prevail on his claims for affirmative relief against her.”
