Charlie Sheen‘s publicist has dumped the erratic star.

“I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much. However, at this time, I’m unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned,” his (now former) longtime rep, Stan Rosenfield, tells Gossip Cop in a statement.

Rosenfield’s decision comes after weeks of increasingly bizarre behavior on Sheen’s part and the cancelation of his hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men” amid the controversy.
