Charlie Sheen Reportedly Angers His Management Co-Stars After Missing Work
Charlie Sheen is reportedly causing problems on the set of “Anger Management,” though his rep denies anything is amiss. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the star has missed several days of filming in recent weeks, leading production to be extended and stand-ins to be used in his place for certain scenes. The magazine says Sheen’s co-stars are “threatening to stop working if the absences persist.” The report comes less than a year after Sheen reportedly had Selma Blair fired from the series for complaining about his on-set behavior, including alleged lateness.
The actor himself was infamously fired from “Two and a Half Men” in 2011 after erratic behavior and a feud with creator Chuck Lorre. He later signed up to do 100 episodes of “Anger Management” for FX, of which one-third still needs to be filmed.
A rep for Sheen denied to THR that any stand-ins have been used, saying the show didn’t film last week “because another member of the cast was sick.” “Charlie is always ready, willing and able to shoot ‘Anger Management’ and looks forward to returning on Monday,” added the spokesperson. Production is scheduled to continue through the fall to meet the 100-episode order. What do you think of the new claims?
