Charlie Sheen Blasts John Mayer Over Fake Rolex Watches: Your Music Is ‘Girlie Drivel’
Charlie Sheen is blasting John Mayer after the musician filed a lawsuit against Sheen’s pal Robert Maron, claiming the watch dealer sold him counterfeit Rolexes. Mayer collects watches and bought a number from Maron a few years ago, only to discover (allegedly) that many of the luxury antiques were bogus. According to the legal filing, Rolex informed Mayer that at least seven of the Maron pieces are fake.
Maron’s legal team says Mayer knew what he was getting, and the musician had even posted on a Rolex message board back in 2007 that he wanted to buy the Flat Dial model even though it contains “counterfeit” parts.
Now Sheen has gotten involved. On Wednesday, the “Anger Management” star took Maron’s side, tweeting, “Mr Mayer needs to park that milk toast girlie drivel he calls muzak & leave the Patek/Rolex prowess to the best watch expert alive.” He then posted a picture of some of his own fancy watches (see below), writing, “Few of mine the Patek Museum have been pining for since I got em in perfect health and provenance from Bob Maron.” Mayer did not responds to Sheen’s tweets in defense of Maron. Gossip Cop will have updates.
