Charlie Sheen Apologizes To Rihanna For “That Bitch” Comment
Charlie Sheen apologized to Rihanna on Tuesday for calling her “that bitch” during a recent interview. The actor took to Twitter to ask for the singer’s forgiveness, and even offered to buy her a drink.
As Gossip Cop reported, Sheen called Rihanna a “bitch” during his interview on “Watch What Happens Live” last week. When host Andy Cohen asked if he had ever made up with the singer following their 2014 feud, the actor responded, “Oh, that bitch. No. She abandoned common courtesy and common sense, you know.”
The feud in question went down in May 2014 when Sheen revealed on Twitter that he spotted Rihanna in a restaurant and sent a request to her table to meet his then-fiancee, Brett Rossi, who was a big fan of the singer’s. Rihanna declined the request, noting that there were too many paparazzi outside. During his Twitter rant detailing the incident, Sheen wrote, “See ya on the way down (we always do) and actually, it was a pleasure NOT meeting you. Clearly we have NOTHING in common when it comes to respect for those who’ve gone before you. I’m guessing you needed those precious 84 seconds to situate that bad wig before you left the restaurant.”
Rihanna later responded by changing her Twitter banner to a photo of Sheen’s head superimposed onto a fan receiving an autograph from her. She added, “If that old queen don’t get ha diapers out of a bunch…” On Tuesday, however, Sheen decided to finally make peace with the singer. The actor tweeted, “dear @rihanna, pardon my inane self indulgence. let’s have a drink someday (on me),” and added a heart emoji. It’s unclear what prompted Sheen’s apology, and it remains to be seen if Rihanna will take up his offer.
