Channing Tatum Acting Rude And Grumpy Following Alcohol Detox?
Channing Tatum is NOT acting “rude” and “grumpy” because he’s supposedly on a detox from alcohol, despite a phony tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
The actor recently attended a charity benefit in Los Angeles for the Fulfillment Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students through education. But according to OK!, Tatum was in a bad mood at the event and it’s supposedly because he’s just quit booze for a three-month detox. A so-called “source” tells the magazine the actor was “grumpy and bored” and “barely able to muster a smile” during the function.
“He admitted he was off booze and said it wasn’t a big deal, but clearly it was,” adds the tabloid’s dubious insider. “He wasn’t his usual fun self. In fact, he was pretty rude to anyone who spoke to him.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Tatum, who exclusively assures us the outlet’s story is simply “not true.” Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had to call out OK! for publishing a bogus report about the actor.
Gossip Cop previously corrected the tabloid’s false cover story claiming Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan were having a second baby to save their marriage. Obviously, the couple hasn’t yet had second child, nor were they ever on the verge of a split. This latest tale about the actor’s supposed detox and “rude” behavior is also fabricated.
