Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Other Celebs Tweet Support to Japan After Earthquake and Tsunami
A number of stars reached out to the people of Japan after a devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami rocked the country. Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Alyssa Milano and even Charlie Sheen are among the celebs taking to Twitter to express their condolences and concern for Japan.
“I’m sending my thoughts and prayers and love to those in Japan who are hurting,” Swift tweeted.
Bieber wrote, “Japan is one of my favorite places on earth…it’s an incredible culture with amazing people. My prayers go out to them. We all need to help.”
Kardashian tweeted, “My prayers are with everyone in Japan!”
Hilton expressed her shock at the devastation, writing, “The images on the news are breaking my heart. I am so worried for everyone in Japan. My thoughts are with you Japan. God bless you all.”
And Milano urged her followers to help out, asking them to donate to the Red Cross.
Even Sheen took a break from his personal media campaign to think of the victims, writing, “Curveball; Warlock edict; pain & devastation in Japan demands us all to dig deep & LOVE THEM VIOLENTLY Dogspeed my cadres of the Far East! c”
