It’s Passover, the Jewish holiday commemorating the freeing of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. The eight-day holiday begins at sundown on Friday, and now stars are sharing their thoughts and wishes. See celebrity Passover tweets below!

Israeli actress Gal Gadot posted a video of herself driving down a road surrounded by a beautiful green landscape, along with the caption, “Happy and springy Passover.” Kathie Lee Gifford expressed, “Want to wish everyone a happy Passover. May God bless us all.” And Mark Ruffalo said, “Happy Passover, to our Jewish Brothers and Sisters!”

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders wrote, “Happy Passover to my sisters and brothers who celebrate!” British Prime Minister David Cameron expressed, “I’m delighted to send my sincerest good wishes, and my hope that you’ll enjoy a happy and peaceful Passover.”
