Who Was Fired on Celebrity Apprentice?

Truth rating: 10

By Shari Weiss

“The Celebrity Apprentice” took a musical turn on Sunday, when the remaining six competitors were asked to create – and perform – a jingle.

With the two music stars – Clay Aiken and Aubrey O’Day – serving as project managers last week, others decided to take the reins.

Dayana Mendoza and Arsenio Hall both stepped up for their respective teams, pledging to organize a 90-second song to market Good Sam’s roadside assistance program.

Tension between Hall and O’Day continued to mount, but it didn’t compare to the explosive fight between Mendoza and perennial enemy Lisa Lampanelli.

The comedienne erupted into hysterics when Mendoza criticized her in the presence of adviser Donald Trump Jr.

Aiken, caught in the middle, ended up having his own tiff with Mendoza later on, exclaiming, “Lisa, swear to god, we’re about to go at her together!”

Still, the three managed to pull together in time for their 60s-themed performance, which appeared to be well-received by the audience.

O’Day, Hall and Teresa Giudice also seemed to entertain with their enthusiastic cheerleader-themed presentation.

Back in the boardroom, Mendoza and Lampanelli viciously went head-to-head again, both before and after Donald Trump revealed Hall’s team had won the challenge.

In the end, Trump fired Mendoza for being unable to effectively lead her teammates.
