Rita Wilson wrote, [Tom Hanks] and I have #Reasons2StandUp. I am a breast cancer survivor as are many friends.” Shannen Doherty, who’s currently battling breast cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, expressed, “What’s my reason to [stand up to cancer]… Because I still have so much more to do.” Meanwhile, Kathy Bates hopes “to kick cancer’s ass,” and Heidi Klum is on a mission “to find a cure.” Rachael Ray also offered, “My friend Britt is a rock star & beat breast cancer!”

Marcia Gay Harden is supporting the cause “for my friend Laura Ziskin,” a film producer who passed away from breast cancer in 2011. Jordana Brewster is on board “because I believe in the power of collaboration,” and William Shatner added, “I stand up to cancer for our children.” Additionally, Maria Menounos shared, “I have lost too many loved ones to cancer. That’s my reason,” and Matt Bomer similarly expressed, “Lost too many we know and love.” “Stand Up To Cancer” airs Friday at 9 p.m., and Gossip Cop will have a live stream of the show available to watch online.
