Celebrities are reacting to U.S. Women’s Soccer Team beating Japan 5-2 to win the Women’s World Cup 2015 at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on Sunday. Carli Lloyd set a record by being the first player ever to score a hat trick (three goals) in under 16 minutes. Not only that, but Lloyd scored on her first two kicks on goal. Nick Lachey wrote, “Congrats ladies, great game!! USA USA USA!!” Ryan Seacrest tweeted, “and THAT is how you win a championship. congrats #usa,” while Justin Timberlake similarly exclaimed, “USA! USA! USA!!!!!!! #USWNT.” Ellen DeGeneres said, “We’re the champions! Congrats to #USWNT & Japan on an amazing game. And now the Golden Globes are next? I thought those were in January.”

President Obama wrote, “What a win for Team USA! Great game @CarliLloyd! Your country is so proud of all of you. Come visit the White House with the World Cup soon.” And Michelle Obama added, “USA! USA! USA! We’re all so proud of you, @USSoccer_WNT! #USAvJapan.” Nick Jonas exclaimed, “Congrats to the #USWNT what a victory!”

Hillary Clinton said, “Here’s to fearless women chasing their goals. Congratulations, Team #USA!” Bill Clinton simply gushed, “Champs!” “Congratulations to Team USA! #WorldCup2015,” added Samantha Ronson. And Danica Patrick tweeted, “Just hanging out….watching USA kick butt in soccer during our rain delay. #usawins!!!!”
