Celebrities React: Donald Trump Supporter Warns “Taco Trucks On Every Corner”
Latinos for Trump founder Marco Gutierrez warned in a new interview that America will have “taco trucks on every corner” if Donald Trump isn’t elected president. Now, celebrities are reacting to the bizarre comment. See stars’ reactions below.
Gutierrez appeared on MSNBC on Thursday night, during which he made an unconventional argument for Trump’s proposed immigration policy and plan to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico. “My culture is a very dominant culture,” he said. “And it is imposing, and it is causing problems. If you don’t do something about it you are going to have taco trucks on every corner.”
Gutierrez’s outlandish assertion resulted in #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner becoming a trending topic on Twitter, with many celebrities on social media poking fun at the remark. Eva Longoria asked, “Hey, what’s wrong with #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner?!” Kathy Griffin wrote, “So a #drumpf surrogate threatening ‘#TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner’ Um…I’ll have a combination plate w guac but #Imwithher.” Josh Gad joked, “Such a bummer that #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner is now a political meme. It was going to be the title of my new Netflix special.” And Minnie Driver offered, “I mean…. We are DOWN a rabbit hole people. #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner.”

You guys can take a break and just let beauty breathe.” Meanwhile, Tommy Chong said, “Taco trucks are on every corner now in 2016. And its a great thing,” and Jeffrey Wright quipped, “#TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner? Starbucks says #BuildTheWall.” Sophia Bush was both “appalled” by the remark and “really excited” by the proposition, adding, “Also, I’m hungry.”
In reference to a certain controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton, Devon Sawa joked, “Breaking: Hillary’s emails released. Most of which are about plans to invade every corner of the United States with Taco Trucks.” Comedian Doug Benson tweeted, “The founder of Latinos For Trump, when asked what our immigration problem is, said there will be taco trucks on every corner. Sounds delish!” And “Bizarre Foods” host Andrew Zimmern offered, “I so want a taco truck on every corner.
