Celebrities React to Death of Steve Jobs

After hearing the news of Steve Jobs’ death, a number of celebrities took to Twitter to express their thoughts and feelings about the man and his legacy.

Paris Hilton wrote, “So sad to hear about Steve Jobs. He was a genius and one of the most innovative people on earth. He changed the world in so many ways.” Miley Cyrus added, “Thank you for connecting all of us Mr. Jobs.” Will.I.Am tweeted, #stevejobs i hope the youth chooses to be like steve jobs…we need more innovators.” Denise Richards said, “So sad about Steve Jobs…my heart goes out to his family and loved ones.”

“A computer is the most remarkable tool that we’ve ever come up with. It’s a bicycle for our minds,” quoted Lance Armstrong from Jobs. Zooey Deschanel tweeted, “So sad about steve jobs, he was a truly inspirational man.” Mandy Moore offered, “Thank you for your innovation and genius. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.” Quoting Jobs, Ashton Kutcher wrote, “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.”

“He was an amazing man with an incredible vision. He changed the world,” said Ellen DeGeneres. Ryan Seacrest tweeted a quotation from Jobs: “Have the courage to follow ur heart & intuition. They already know what u truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” Josh Duhamel said, “You were a brilliant innovator & changed our lives forever.” Nicki Minaj called Jobs “an innovator,” adding, “Contributed so much to this generation & beyond.”

“Steve lived the California Dream every day of his life and he changed the world and inspired all of us,” tweeted Arnold Schwarzenegger. “Such sad news,” added Kelly Ripa. Kate Walsh wrote, “God bless you, Steve Jobs. Rest in peace.” Wilmer Valderrama tweeted, “Rare in a lifetime. To witness a single man revolutionize technology and the way we carry on with life as we know it… RIP Steve Jobs.”

“Apple 2C was my first,” recalled Eliza Dushku. “So sad! My thoughts go out to his family,” said Brooke Burke-Charvet. “Sad about Steve Jobs. On par with Henry Ford, Carnegie and Edison,” observed Alec Baldwin. DJ Pauly D: “A man who changed the world forever lost his battle today RIP Steve Jobs #findacureforcancer” Jamie Kennedy wrote, “RIP steve jobs, you were a real iNSPIRATION.”

Eva Longoria expressed, My heart goes out for the family of Steve Jobs. What an inspiration he was to us all and a creative visionary for the world.” Ricky Martin simply noted, “RIP Steve Jobs.” Jimmy Fallon tweeted, “Thank you, Steve Jobs, for all of the fun and amazing ways you made our lives better…. Sent from my iPhone.” Howard Stern expressed, “Steve Jobs was a true original. So Sad. A tremendous loss.”

“Rest in peace, Steve Jobs,” wrote Neil Patrick Harris, adding, “Your genius will live on for generations to come.” Jim Carrey remarked, “Steve Jobs was an amazing man. He will live in my hard drive forever!” Taylor Swift said, “I never met Steve Jobs, but I always wanted to. What a tragic loss. I can’t believe it. About to call my family and tell them I love them.” Maria Shriver tweeted, “My heart weeps for all who worked with Steve and who loved him, especially my friend Laurene and their children.”

“Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. You’ve changed forever the world you leave behind,” noted Katie Couric. “We will miss you, Steve Jobs. Sent lovingly from my iPhone,” added Jane Lynch. “RIP Steve Jobs…..what an innovator. This world will miss him,” echoed LeAnn Rimes. And Kevin Spacey wrote, “The world lost a true visionary today. Think different.” Jon Favreau said, “We lost a man of true vision today. Condolences to the whole Apple family.”
