Celebrities are reacting to President Donald Trump’s immigration ban not being reinstated after the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco denied his motion for a stay. See how Hollywood stars’ reactions to the president’s executive action being blocked.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, the appeals court listened to arguments from both sides on Tuesday about why the temporary ban of immigrants and refugees from seven Middle Eastern and African countries should or shouldn’t be enforced. The president signed the order because he felt the ban would ensure national security and keep prospective terrorists out. The State of Washington argued the ban was unconstitutional and discriminatory toward Muslims. And now the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco unanimously agreed with the state of Washington’s lifting the ban.

Moments after the decision, President Trump tweeted, “SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!” Judd Apatow wrote, “Oh s**t— he is using caps! Someone explained the caps lock to our so called President baby.” And Seth Rogen noted, “Does this dude not know that they literally just saw him in court?” Tom Bergeron remarked, “All caps, eh? I can’t wait until he starts using emojis.”

Josh Gad used a gif of Dustin Hoffman from Hook, with the caption mimicking the clip’s action. Gad offered, “SEE YOU IN COURT is the new: ‘Kill Them All.'” Billy Eichner cracked, “As bad as Trump feels about losing this, you KNOW he feels worse about losing the Emmy.” Arsenio Hall simply responded, “Doh!” to the president’s tweet. And Stephen Colbert told him, “Sir, this is two sentences. It shouldn’t be a comma. It should be a period. #GrammarNeoNazi.”

“Thank God!!And TY to all the judges, and lawyers and citizens who protested! This is our America! #nomuslimban #lovenothatemakesamericagreat,” said Mira Sorvino. Mia Farrow trolled Trump by writing “bigly,” and Chelsea Peretti wrote to the president, “BC UR NUTS.” Albert Brooks also quipped, “Looks like the appeals court is not getting that Ivanka Trump gift basket.”

Sophia Bush said, “Bravo to the courts. At least some folks in charge adhere to the Constitution. #NoHate #NoFear #RefugeesAreWelcomeHere.” Alyssa Milano tweeted, “Our Founding Fathers were pretty darn smart. #checksandbalances.” Cher expressed, “trump LOST!! NUFF SAID.” And Hillary Clinton even posted, “3-0.”

Still firmly on Trump’s side, though, is Chuck Woolery, who wrote, “What was the motivation for the Trump travel ban. I know, I know , pick me! OK just a guess. To protect us against Terrorists?”
