As Hurricane Sandy bears down on the East Coast, with states of emergency declared, celebs are taking to Twitter to comment on the superstorm.

The comments range from caring and concerned to downright crazy.

    She may have rt’d good info but her comment implies that she does not think this storm is severe when it is. “WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic… Stop projecting negativity!” People are in a panic because this is a strong, slow moving storm that has brought the Middle Atlantic to a halt. She assumes the urgency is “negative” when it is completely necessary. She doesn’t understand the severity of this storm and the damage that it is causing. Her input is so condescending and ridiculous, no matter where she is tweeting it from.

    I feel that God is trying to tell us something. He is so real. You have to watch what you pray for. I pray everyday and ask God if he could please do something with this sinful world. I don’t really know if it was a direct answer to my prayers or not. He sent a a hurricane that hit NYC very hard and sent an earthquake to LA and other places. People, we need to try to help this nation not be so sinful. God, I believe, is ready to destroy it completely if the sins of “us” all don’t improve. To see sin, all we have to do is look at ourselves, all around us, come here and other sites… just about everywhere. Let’s try to repent and stay in praying. Each individual has to answer to God and no one else should have to answer for you. I am not trying to be “holier than thou” or anything like that because I am not. I just feel deep down inside and by being in this hurricane, that I have to deliver this message.

    I pray for God to HELP this world. If world peace is what God wants, then fine. God also chastises. He is a God who does what He thinks is best. As long as there is hatred, sin and man thinking that he has the answers and not God + greed, then how can there be world peace? Nothing happens unless God is in control. It’s God who is always in control. I always say to God, “let thou will be done”. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t say that the hurricane was OK. It was scary and there was NOTHING, no one could do. Man wasn’t in charge, it was GOD in charge no matter what you think or I think. I am thankful that it wasn’t any worse than it was.

    Where I live, the hurricane was right over my neighborhood’s head. There wasn’t any damage done, street lights stayed on. Everything went well considering. See, I don’t wait for a disaster to start to pray. I pray every day and sometimes many times within the day. I am NOT afraid to say that I LOVE the LORD, I get my peace from HIM. I don’t need the world’s peace. You have to be at peace with yourself through God.
