Hurricane Matthew, the most powerful Caribbean storm in nearly a decade, hit Haiti on Tuesday. Celebrities are now reacting to the devastating hurricane that has destroyed homes and claimed several lives. Below are the stars who are sending their prayers on Twitter.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton tweeted, “Concerned for the millions of families in Hurricane Matthew’s path. You can donate to help those in need here,” along with a link to help fund the relief effort. Bill Clinton wrote, “Praying for everyone impacted by #HurricaneMatthew.” and also added a link. Meanwhile, Olivia Wilde expressed, “Thinking of my beloved Haiti today as this mother of a hurricane hits land. Help if you can.”

Mia Farrow noted, “For Haiti, where hundreds of thousands of families are still living in tents, this hurricane will be devastating #PrayersForHaiti.” Patricia Arquette offered, “Sending out prayers to #Haiti and thanks to those who are helping.” Tyler Perry conveyed, “I’m praying for all those in the path of hurricane Matthew! May peace be still.” And
Elisabeth Hasselbeck posted the hashtags “#PrayTogether” and “#Haiti.”

Additionally, Rainn Wilson wrote, “Sending prayers to the people of Haiti & Jamaica,” while Debra Messing, Connie Britton and MC Hammer all separately stated, “Praying for Haiti.” Rihanna also expressed, “My heart absolutely breaks for Haiti!!! Prayers up for my brothers and sisters who’ve fallen victim to this tragic event!”
