Celebrities are responding to Donald Trump’s messages of support on Twitter in aid of International Women’s Day. See Hollywood stars’ reaction tweets below.

In support of the occasion, Trump shared on Wednesday, “I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy.” “On International Women’s Day, join me in honoring the critical role of women here in America & around the world,” he added.

As Gossip Cop reported, “The View” co-hosts weighed in on Trump’s tweets. Sunny Hostin said, “It seemed very disingenuous to me,” while Whoopi Goldberg expressed, “I’m not sure how to take these tweets.” A number of other stars also responded negatively to his tweets, drawing attention to his past misogynistic and sexist behavior and scandalous moments with women.

Chelsea Handler tweeted, “Happy international women’s day. @realDonaldTrump, a special congrats to all the int’l pussies that have been assaulted by you.” Mark Hamill shared, “I’m sure this tweet “grabbed” their respect @realDonaldTrump. #TheyLetYouDoItIfYoureACelebrity.”

James Corden simply wrote, “Mmmmmm ok.” Alyssa Milano offered, “Grab them by the pussy.” And Samantha Bee joked, “I wonder how many drafts it took for him to not include “except for f*ckin’ Rosie O’Donnell,” adding, “The Trump WH is so feminist, EVERY day is Day Without a Woman.” J.K. Rowling quoted the President against himself, using his tweet as the caption line for a snapshot of Trump’s own famous comment “Just kiss. I don’t ever wait…Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.” Gossip Cop will update as more celebrities react to Trump’s Women’s Day tweets.
