Celebrities React: Carrie Fisher Suffers Heart Attack
Carrie Fisher suffered a massive heart attack Friday afternoon on a flight from London to Los Angeles, and celebrities are now reacting and sending prayers to the actress on Twitter. See stars’ tweets below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Fisher went into cardiac arrest on an airplane, resulting in an on-board EMT attempting CPR on the actress. She was rushed to UCLA Medical Center as soon the plane landed. One celebrity sending well-wishes to the actress is William Shatner, who tweeted, “I ask everyone to stop for a moment and send special thoughts to @carrieffisher.”
Katie Couric offered, “Sending our love and support to the inimitable @carrieffisher right now.
