Celebrities across the globe are taking to social media to show their support for “A Day Without A Woman.” On International Women’s Day, women come together to participate in a one-day demonstration to fight for gender equality and justice. See Hollywood stars’ tweets below.

In addition to tweeting their support, a number of stars changed their profile pictures on Twitter completely red in a show of solidarity. Alyssa Milano, who changed her picture red, tweeted, “Women! Rise up!” Josh Gad simply shared, “#ADayWithoutAWoman.” And Ellen DeGeneres wrote, “I’m grateful to all the women who came before me and fought for me to be able to be where I am. #ADayWithoutWomen #IWD2017.”

Meanwhile, Naya Riveria, who also turned her Twitter picture red, offered, “Happy #internationalwomensday today and everyday let’s all make our voices heard.” Sophia Bush expressed, “Solidarity. The Statue Of Liberty is dark today. #ADayWithoutWomen #InternationalWomensDay.” Marlee Martin offered, “March 8th is A Day Without A Woman. Wear RED in support (Look what @MTV did!), Let’s ALL stand in economic solidarity with women.”

Kerry Washington expressed, “In solidarity with my sisters! #ADayWithoutAWoman #womensmarch.” Minnie Driver shared, “#ADayWithoutWomen? You couldn’t do 5 minutes without one. Its #internationalwomensday – celebrate the women that you love.” And Pharrell Williams similarly tweeted, “We are nothing without women and today the world will see that. Got on my red, too. Today should be a holiday. #strengthinnumbers.” Gossip Cop will continue to update as more celebrities support “A Day Without A Woman.”
