Celebrities Endorse Presidential Candidates: Who Are Stars Voting For?
It’s Super Tuesday, and celebrities are weighing in on which presidential candidates they’re endorsing and ultimately voting for. Hillary Clinton seems to be the clear favorite among stars, with more than 100 famous supporters having come forward in recent months.
Celebrities who have donated to the Democratic presidential front-runner’s campaign include Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Tom Hanks, Beyonce, Michael Douglas, Meg Ryan, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Additionally, stars who have voiced their admiration for Clinton on either social media or in interviews include Will Ferrell, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Samuel L. Jackson.
Bernie Sanders has scored a bunch of famous endorsements as well. Among the celebrities who’ve donated money to him are Mark Ruffalo, Danny DeVito and Maura Tierney. Other stars to publicly support the Democratic candidate include Ryan Gosling, Sarah Silverman, Jeremy Piven, Josh Hutcherson, and Susan Sarandon.
Donald Trump also has an array of celebrity supporters. His, however, are a more eclectic crew and include Mike Tyson, Dennis Rodman, Jesse James, Tila Tequila, Gary Busey, Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, and Stephen Baldwin.
As for other presidential candidates, Ted Cruz has the support of James Woods and Adam Carolla, while Ben Carson is being endorsed by Mickey Rourke, Kelsey Grammar and Kirk Cameron. Those voting for Marco Rubio include Donnie Wahlberg and Jenna Jameson.
