It’s National Siblings Day, and many stars are celebrating by sharing personal family photos and tweeting in honor of their brothers and sisters. See a gallery below of Hollywood stars and their siblings!
The holiday was founded by a woman named Claudia Evart in 1995 after she lost her two siblings in separate accidents. In honor of their memory, she encouraged people around the world to remember the importance of having siblings.
One celebrity observing the holiday is Khloe Kardashian, who tweeted, “My siblings are my entire [world]￼￼!!! Happy #NationalSiblingsDay!” Her mom Kris Jenner posted a collage of various photos of her kids together, and captioned it, “Happy #NationalSiblingsDay.” Meanwhile, Alyssa Milano tweeted, “#NationalSiblingsDay,” along with a photo of her son and daughter napping together.
Viola Davis shared an old family photo with her siblings and added, “A love like no other. Happy #NationalSiblingsDay!” Mario Lopez posted a photo with his sister from their teenage years and wrote, “Happy #NationalSiblingsDay! I couldn’t ask for a better sister/best friend. Love you Marissa.” And Chris Pratt said, “It’s #nationalsiblingday AND coincidentally my sister Angie Pratt Rice’s birthday! I love my big sister.”
Ariana Grande posted a childhood photo with her brother, and said, “i love you… we have yet to take a cooler photo together.” Josh Duhamel shared a picture of himself with his three sisters, and wrote, “We are family. I got all my sisters with me. #nationalsiblingsday.” Kate Walsh similarly said, “We are family. I got all my [brothers] and sisters with me. Happy #NationalSiblingsDay!” And Dolly Parton shared a photo with her many siblings.
