WATCH: Cee Lo Green Sings “F*ck You” and Flips Middle Finger at Obama Event

VIDEO

(Fox News)

Cee Lo Green performed a partially uncensored “F*ck You” and gave the middle finger at a fundraiser for President Obama in Atlanta on Friday.

In the clip, Green is seen asking, “Can I cuss?” before doing just that, using the original “F*ck You” expletives rather than the sanitized “Forget You” version.

The Fox News commentators criticize Green for swearing at an event in front of the President and donors.

What do you think – offensive or no big deal?

Leave it up to Fox News, the HOLY network. Now they are “respecting” the present. When did this start?

  • guest

you’re right, criticize the news network reporting this bullshit. Don’t worry about our nations leader having this douche bag perform at one of his “fundraisers”

  • guest

I like cee lo, especially on the Voice but I thought what he did was disrespectful.

  • Regina1180

The name of the song is “f$&k you”. What did they really expect?

  • Laarni

Ah sheesh, why it goes against my grain to be a celebrity fan. Some of them have little or no education at all, or if they are fortunate enough to educate themselves, they just don’t have the class to carry it off. There is a place and time for such a song, but not at a dinner in honour of The President of the United States, which is the most important position in the world. I also blamed the people working for the President. Cee Lo should have taken off the list of entertainers to perform had he not agreed not to abide by the rules.

    No he de’ent!

  • The Holy Network

    respecting the “president”

  • The Holy Network

Yes, the song was at the wrong place, but I will never stop criticizing Fox News until they improve their snobbishness. They are not that interested in the president, they just want something “not nice” coming from somewhere near the president. The president had nothing to do with what he rapped. I am sure he has other things on his mind than to worry about what a Cee Lo Green raps. The president didn’t book this performance. Don’t blame that on him.

I Like Cee Lo but what he sang and did were disrespectful. There’s nothing wrong in selecting a song appropriate for one’s audience. Poor judgment and tasteless. Less respect for him.

Politicians need to loosen up. They hired a guy named “Cee Lo” to sing a song called “F!@# You”. If they have a problem with it, don’t hire him. I have a feeling Obama liked it. It’s the news reporters who are directing social mores that think it was disrespectful. If Obama had a problem with it, HE should say something about it. Aside from that, have you heard how those politicians talk when they think no one is around? They could teach Cee Lo a few new words.

  • Guest

Yes that’s the name of the song but there’s a clean version. It was sang at some award show last year. He could have chosen to use that version at this event.

  • Andy C.

So two men or two women that love eachother aren’t aloud to kiss or hold hands in public because parents fear of suppose “bad influences” to their children yet this fat f*ck is aloud to put the middle finger and swear on national television, Woowwww Congratulations America!!

  • Debra

Ceelo sumed it all up. Is this what the dems think or what Obama is telling whomever disagrees with him

  • Q!

It is HELLA ironic that Fox News Network criticizing someone for disrespecting the president. :/

  • Dannigirl

Ok, I was all annoyed about this moment with Cee-lo and now I am not even believing this stupid lady saying the comment about the president being the cool dad and the country needing a real adult instead. Here’s a note for both of you: Cee-lo should know better and while that language might be cool in concert, respect for the president should have told you not to do that crap. Now to stupid lady and phony host swearing too much that they never heard of Cee-lo (you protest to much and probably have all 3 of his cds but back to my point) While the entertainer was inappropriate neither of you could handle the stress and pressure of making real life decisions that effect a whole nation like this “real adult” has. All you can do is sit and be Fox news cool a@!holes and make snide remarks. Grow up time is in full effect for everyone. I hate ridiculous people regardless of political party!

  • Evan Parr

Oh totally, Obama has nothing to do with who performs at his fundraisers or who he associates himself with…public image should mean…nothing???

  • The Holy Network

Leave the president alone. I see nothing wrong with him not knowing what the man was going to wrap. Then who were they suppose to have at the fundraiser? Somebody you want to be there? He didn’t do the sign language nor say the bad language. I am sure he has heard worse words from the KKK, Tea Party, Rush Lombard(sp?) and fellow prejudice politicians.

I used to like Cee Lo Green and now think that he is somewhat of a twisted person to use sing this song to a group of fundraisers. The organizers of this event should be criticized as well. Obviously the attendees must be adolescents who giggle and get a charge out of this type of anti social behavior. I thought the President was a little more sophisticated than this.

  • Anonymous

Why does profanity have to be used? Seems as though people expect and accept the unsanitized version of behavior in society. NOT!

  • Brenda

I find CeeLo Green to be totally disgusting whatever he does. Doesn’t matter if it’s political or just throwing his big fat ass around anywhere on tv.I watch the Voice but anytime he is on, I flip channels. I’m sure this was done not for the President but for Green’s own publicity and sadly it worked. These events are not planned by the President and whomever hired this creep should be fired.

  • reneeislookin

I am absolutely, positively sure Ceelo was not referring to the President when he was singing that song.

  • Raiderscats

Get a life. I think I would rather hear the song ::Fuck You than the garbage and hatred that Santorum spews.

  • Commentatore

It’s amazing to me that “news” people don’t know who Cee Lo Green is– Rush Limbaugh did the same act on his radio show, pretending he never heard of Cee Lo as well as totally misrepresenting the news by implying Cee Lo had performed the whole song and never switched back to the “safe” lyrics. I now think the sniping that FOX and Limbaugh only have really old, white-male, out of touch people in their audience may actually be true. “Forget You” in either the clean or original version is a hugely entertaining song–it’s joyous in its own way about overcoming adversity, even if it only on the surface is about a “woman done her man wrong”–it’s just as liberating as “I Will Survive” if you know that one. Thank goodness nobody asked Obama to explain this incident–the idiots would twist it to the president’s disadvantage no matter what he said about it.
