CBS has permanently removed Rihanna from its “Thursday Night Football” NFL telecasts after the singer expressed unhappiness over being removed from last week’s game.

As Gossip Cop reported, Rihanna was set to be part of a pre-taped introductory segment for the weekly event, but CBS opted to exclude her from the Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers game in the wake of Ray Rice’s domestic violence scandal.

Given Rihanna’s past as a victim of domestic violence, CBS determined it was not the “appropriate tone” to have her involved.

On Tuesday, she expressed outrage, tweeting, “CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, F*ck you! Y’all are sad for penalizing me for this.”

Now the network has cut her from “Thursday Night Football” for good.

In a statement, CBS explained, “Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our ‘Thursday Night Football’ open. We will be using our newly created Thursday Night Football theme music to open our game broadcast.”
