MAG: Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas Expecting Baby

“After years of trials and tribulations, the tide is finally turning for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas as the couple prepare to welcome another child!” announces Star magazine.

“Michael is giving Catherine her dream gift – another baby,” claims a so-called “insider.”

Indeed, the tabloid reports that Zeta-Jones’ “bumped-up belly” was on display during a January 17 event, and that observers “are buzzing that she is pregnant.”

Star even cites the actress’ absence from the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her project Lay the Favorite as an indication that something might be happening with Zeta-Jones.

Meanwhile, the National Enquirer is also reporting the same baby rumors.

And the outlets are 100% wrong.

A rep for Douglas tells Gossip Cop it’s simply “not true” that the couple is expecting, and Zeta-Jones’ spokesperson adds that the actual reason she did not attend Sundance was that she was busy working on her movie Broken City in New Orleans.

    Catherine should leave this dirty old man. He stalled her career because of his nicotine addiction which led to his throat cancer. His first wife left him because of a sex addicition. His son from that marriage is now in jail for drug trafficking/possesion. He almost got Catherine killed because of an obsessed stalker. Then, she gets depression because of all his BS. He only married her for a “trophy wife”. His pick up line was, “I want you to be the mother of my children”. What a creep. I read he wanted Catherine to dress up in a sexy nurse outfit while nursing this jerk back to health. Michael Douglas is an overrated, one-note actor. Catherine deserves better.

    At least, her smoking habit didn’t lead to throat cancer. Or, Mikey’s son from his first marriage. Now in prision for drug trafficking Catherine even testified at court and wrote letter to the judge for this punk. She’s made all the sacrafices for this @$$. I don’t want to hear baby news. I want to hear news of Catherine serving up divorce papers.

    I do believe Catherine has proven herself to be a good wife and mother. I also think one could equally suggest that Michael may have married her for a trophy wife although Catherine took the early heat in the relationship as a gold digger. That is ridiculous. But, I do agree with Rob on one assessment. Michael Dougals is a bit overrated. Catherine getting caught taking a drag of a cigarrette is about the worst thing she’s done. That’s pretty good by Hollywood standards. She is basically a good, well-behaved person, imo.

    Guess what, “highly unlikely” is no longer the case. My sister just had baby number 4 – their one-shot wonder. She is 42.
