Casey Kasem is dead.

The legendary radio host was 82.

Daughter Kerri revealed the news on Sunday via Facebook and Twitter.

“Early this Father’s Day morning, our dad Casey Kasem passed away surrounded by family and friends,” she wrote.

Kerri went on:

“Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken. Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our Dad. With love, Kerri, Mike and Julie.”

She also shared a special photo from when she was a baby — see below.

Last week, Kasem was taken off of life support by court order.

His wife Jean had been warring with Kasem’s children over his health and treatment, and was reportedly furious with the judge’s decision.

Kasem was suffering from complications of Lewy Body Disease, and in declining health in recent years.

The pop culture icon was best known as the host of “American Top 40,” the weekly countdown radio show now hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

Kasem also voiced Shaggy in the Scooby Doo franchise for several decades.
