Casey Anthony Releases Video Diary

Casey Anthony has released a video diary message.

It marks the first time she’s spoken publicly since being acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, last July.

The video of Anthony, in which she wears a new blonde bob and talks directly to the camera, surfaced on YouTube late Wednesday.

She apparently recorded it in October.

“It’s just a little surreal how much things have changed since July, and how many things haven’t changed,” says Anthony, who describes being “excited” to have access to her own computer and phone and reveals that she’s adopted and caring for a dog.

NBC News has confirmed that the video is real.

    When I saw this on the Today show this morning I have to admit that I was curious. I’m mostly curious about why she felt the need to release this. But then I realized that there are some really sick people in the world that have probably been begging for her to come back into the public eye, and this is the only way she can.

    I haven’t visited her actual You Tube page, but I sure hope she has comments enabled. I can’t imagine people welcoming her onto the web with open arms.
