Casey Anthony Released From Prison [VIDEO and PHOTOS]

Casey Anthony has been released from prison, 12 days after being acquitted of murder in the 2008 death of her two-year-old daughter Caylee.

She was freed just moments ago, at 12:09 a.m. in Orlando, Florida.

Anthony walked out of Orange County Jail with the $537.68 remaining balance in her inmate account, and left in a dark sports utility vehicle.

Her immediate post-incarceration plans and destination have not been disclosed out of fear for Anthony’s personal safety.

Demonstrators gathered outside Orange County Jail to chant their disgust with the controversial verdict and release. The crowd also contained vocal supporters of Anthony.

In the videos below, Anthony is walked out of the facility with her lawyer, then booed and heckled when the crowd sees her.

  The fact is, she got out whether or not she killed her baby. She will have to answer to God when she is judged finally before Him. Normally, I try to remain non judgemental, but this womans behavior tells me this, 1. She was a crappy mom, 2. We may never know what happened or who killed that sweet baby, & 3. She will not survive long if she keeps the same attitude she has had thru this whole ordeal. No way.

  HOW ARE SOME OF YOU DEFENDING THIS BITCH?! what circumstances are you talking about. she is as guilty as can be. she did not report her daughter missing for a month. drove around with her dead body in the trunk of her fucking car, moved in with her boyfriend the following day, who might i mention had to fucking idea any of this had happened, and fucking partied her ass off with her friends a week following her daughters death. What parent would do that?! I just had a child myself and OMG god forbit something horrible ever happened to him because i am not sure i will be able to survive it myself and this fucking bitch parties on and does not even bat a fucking eye lash and some of you morons are saying she was found innocent?! the only reason the jury has ruled her innocent is because the prosecution did not have enough charges against her that they felt compfortable with. The death penalty or lying to the cops were their only choice, and unfortunetely it playd in her favor. i hope someone murders this bitch.

  i don’t think anyone is defending her…people are defending the justice system…BIG DIFFERENCE. i believe she is guilty, she was involved somehow, but i’m not going to hold on to my anger because she walked away free…i KNEW she was getting out soon, just like you all knew she was too…karma is a bitch, and she’ll get it..

  I think we DO need to take a closer look at our justice system. We take a bunch of people randomly from the community at large, who have no background in the law, and assume they understand the duties that have been entrusted in them after simply reading them some dry legal-eeze words that likely go over the head of most of them. I think they each need to be tested on the information they are given prior to the start of the trial. One-on-one. To make sure they understand what is expected of them. Did this jury really understand what reasonable doubt means?? I was on a jury for a trial that lasted 2 days, and it took us 2 days of discussing the evidence before we all came to the same conclusion. I just don’t understand how the couple who felt she was guilty so easily changed their mind in just a couple of hours.

Everything the prosecution had was innuendo and character assassination. The burden of proof is on the prosecution. The PROSECUTION has to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. There was NOTHING here but innuendo and smear to compensate for the total lack of forensic or even circumstantial evidence. The prosecution had NO business at all pursuing this case.

  Susan, while I agree with you that the prosecution failed to provide positive proof that she killed her daughter and the jury had no choice but to clear her of the death penalty charge, if they had tried her on a lesser charge, she would still be in jail. The jurors have said that they feel she was involved, but didn’t know for sure if she murdered the child. I also agree with you about Nancy Grace but she wasn’t the only one. I stopped watching CNN, HLN on Friday. Their whole network was focused on inciting a riot. Vinnie, Jane, Dr.(ha) Drew,all of them. They all sounded like leaders of a lynch mob. Disgusting.
