Casey Anthony Breaks Silence on Piers Morgan: “I Did Not Kill My Daughter”

Casey Anthony, who last summer was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee, spoke with Piers Morgan by phone on Tuesday.

Morgan discussed their conversation, in which Anthony professed her innocence and spoke about her new life, on his CNN show.

Anthony addressed the “misconceptions” about her, telling Morgan first and foremost, “Obviously, I didn’t kill my daughter.”

She added, “If anything, there’s nothing in this world I’ve ever been more proud of, and there’s no one I loved more than my daughter. She’s my greatest accomplishment.”

Anthony says she’s “ashamed in many ways of the person I was,” admitting that she was a “stupid kid,” but explaining that the public perception of her as “absolutely horrible” is misplaced.

An interesting moment happened as her lawyer, Cheney Mason, described to Morgan what Anthony’s daily life is like now.

Mason revealed that Anthony is in the midst of The Hunger Games trilogy, which Morgan noted is about the killing of children, making it an odd choice of reading material.

    She is so full of it. It’s not like she’ll say ” yes I did kill my child “. Any woman, mother, knowing that their baby is missing, would not act the way this woman was acting. If a baby of mine’s is missing, take me to the nearest hospital and put me in an oxygen tank, because I can no longer breath. I’m not out somewhere having a good time, and telling lies about where my child is. So until the day I die, I’ll believe she killed little Caylee, that’s it that’s all.

    Hmm..waiting over a month to file a missing person’s report on Caylee, partying and drinking it up in that timeframe, making up a babysitter to frame for stealing and killing her, lying on her father to save her ass, her car smelling like a dead person and/or decay and on top of that, not testifying at the stand.

    And you didn’t kill her? LOL YEAH OKAY. Disgusting whore, there is a special place in hell for her, because if we were to say that she didn’t kill her, she damn well sure showed just how much she cared about that little girl when she was missing. I wouldn’t even piss on this bitch.

    Obviously she was a bad person and a bad mother and despite all that was fucked up about her, I don’t think she killed her daughter. Doesn’t make her a good person though.

    I’ve noticed that she cried one time: because of happyness when she was declared not guilty. She even smiled slightly. I don’t see grief due to loss of her daughter, she was afraid – of going to jail. She looks like a liar and a coward.
