Casey Affleck did NOT get lost in the woods while filming the movie Light Of My Life in Canada, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s not true.

“Foggy Affleck Lost In Forest,” reads a headline from this week’s National Enquirer, which goes on to claim the actor got “hopelessly lost in the Canadian woods” while filming for his new movie. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “As Casey’s crew set up in a remote British Columbia Park region on a beautiful day, the star wandered off alone for a fun stroll, but the weather suddenly turned dangerously foggy and icy.”

The magazine’s questionable insider further purports, “Casey’s little meander got scary because his worried crew’s shouts went unheard in the windy, thick forest,” adding, “Luckily, Mounties didn’t have to be called because the crew finally backtracked Casey’s footprints.”

Despite the absurdity of the Enquirer’s article, Gossip Cop checked in with an impeccable source close to the actor who exclusively assures the entire report is “silly” and “not true.” Affleck did not get lost in the Canadian woods while filming his new movie, nor did the crew backtrack his footprints to find him. Once again, the supermarket tabloid has seemingly fabricated yet another fake news story.
