Candace Cameron Bure “The View” Goodbye Video: Watch Last Episode
Candace Cameron Bure said goodbye to “The View” on Friday, just one day after announcing she’d be leaving the show. Check out the video below.
On Thursday, Bure revealed she would be departing the talk show due to her commitments with “Fuller House” and the Hallmark Channel, as well as a desire to spend more time with her family, who aren’t based in New York City. The unexpected news came only partway into Bure’s second season with the program. She is now the latest co-host to announce an exit, following “That’s So Raven” star Raven-Symone.
Now on Friday, Bure sat with her fellow co-hosts for a farewell speech of sorts. “Today is officially my last day,” she confessed, going on to say, “I will miss all of you. They’ve all told me — I’m welcome back anytime, and I would love to come back. So, I won’t be a stranger.”
Paula Faris told the conservative-minded actress, “I just want to say, it’s been so great to have your perspective. I know you speak for a lot of people in this country, and I know the show is committed to making sure that that voice is still heard at the table. So, thank you for bringing what you uniquely bring to this table. We’re all gonna miss you and we love you.”
And when Behar asked Bure if she’s “enjoyed” her time on the show, the former child star responded, “Very, very much. I have learned so much. I’ll take it with me forever. Listen, this show is legendary, and to think I have been a part of it is really incredible.” What else was said in Bure’s final moments? Watch below!
