Camille Grammer Sued By Ex Dimitri Charalambopoulos; Former Boyfriend Claims Assault Allegations Were Made-Up
Camille Grammer’s ex-boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos is suing the reality star over claims he assaulted her.
As Gossip Cop reported, Grammer filed a police report last October alleging that Charalambopoulos attacked and terrorized her in a hotel, leading to charges of felony assault and choking. She provided photographic evidence that she claimed backed up allegations (see below). But last week, the criminal charges against Charalambopoulos were dismissed over a lack of evidence.
The former “Real Housewives” star released a statement expressing her outrage, but now Charalambopoulos is calling the entire supposed incident a fabrication. In the lawsuit, an attorney says that Grammer and Charalambopoulos did indeed have an argument in which she allegedly accused him of cheating, but when he left, she staged the fight scene. The legal papers accuse Grammer of taking hair from her hairbrush and scattering it about the room to back up her claim that Charalambopoulos pulled it out from her head, and smudging her makeup for her face to look messed up.
Charalambopoulos, whose suit claims he painstakingly cared for Grammer in the aftermath of her cancer surgery, is arguing that her supposed lies have ruined his life. He’s suing for malicious prosecution, defamation, fraud and other charges.
In January, Grammer won a three-year restraining order against Charalambopoulos.
